Company Overview
Mr. Sungjin Park, CEO of Shinhwa Hi-Tech, has been working in the plant industry for over 40 years. He has been concerned about the environmental pollution caused by burying industrial waste that does not completely eliminate harmful substances, leading to secondary pollution. This prompted him to develop an eco-friendly incinerator capable of complete combustion of industrial waste.
Shinhwa Hi-Tech's unique technology allows for incineration at ultra-high temperatures using self-generated heat and air without the need for additional fuels such as oil or gas.
In tests using their incinerator, waste tires were completely combusted without smoke at a temperature of 1,800 degrees Celsius.
The incinerator achieves complete combustion and maximizes the elimination of harmful substances as the temperature rises and the residence time in the combustion chamber increases.
Shinhwa Hi-Tech’s ultra-high-temperature industrial waste incinerator provides over four times the residence time compared to general incinerators and maintains ultra-high temperatures using oxygen from the air. Additionally, the product is insulated with water, allowing for the production of large amounts of steam.
The company is preparing to establish related facility systems that utilize the byproduct energy from the incinerator to produce renewable energy, such as green hydrogen collection and electricity generation. This not only reduces costs through the incineration of industrial waste but also creates additional revenue from the sale of renewable energy. The ultra-high-temperature industrial waste incinerator, which utilizes water, fire, and air, ensures complete combustion without the emission of harmful substances such as dioxins and is capable of handling large amounts of industrial and polymer waste.
The safety of this ultra-high-temperature waste incinerator has been verified by the Environmental Technology Center at the Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology (UNIST). Tests on the incinerator chimney showed a non-detectable level of dioxins (PCDD/Fs) at 0.000ng 1-TEQ/Sm², confirming its safety.
